GenDate: A Journey Through Time

Course Overview

THIS IS A 1-SESSION ONSITE COURSE. 


Join us for a unique intergenerational event at the National Museum, designed to spark conversation, connection, and a whole lot of fun! This is part of GenLab Collective's annual GenDate event, their flagship intergenerational bonding event; in collaboration with Fei Yue Community Services' Intergenerational Learning Programme.


Here's what awaits you:

The Tech Time Machine Challenge: Team up with a youth partner for our Tech Time Machine Challenge! Put your heads together to solve challenges by collecting clues at the Singapore History Gallery in this fun activity.

Dialogue on Love Languages: Delve deeper into the ways we express and receive love. This discussion will help you understand your loved ones’ unique "love language" and strengthen your family bonds.

Light refreshments will be provided during the event as well! 


This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with individuals from a different generation, learn from each other, and create lasting memories!

  • Participants must be fit enough to walk around the museum space for a portion of the event.
  • Participants will have to travel down to the location to attend this course.

Pre-requisites
  • 50 years old and above
  • Singaporean or PR
  • Must be able to understand and converse in simple English
  • Participants have to be fit enough to travel down to the location on their own
  • Participants to highlight to recruitment staff regarding any food allergies or restrictions as light snacks will be provided
  • Participants must be fit enough to walk around the museum space for a portion of the event
