This course is a progression for those who have completed Korean Basic (Level 1).
Have you ever wanted to pick up Korean so you can enjoy watching your favourite Korean variety shows and dramas? Come join us and learn the Korean alphabet! This course equips learners with a basic knowledge of the Korean language. Learners will learn how to engage in simple daily conversations and gain knowledge of certain Korean language expressions.
Note: It is a pre-requisite to have completed the Korean Basic (Level 1) before signing up for this course.

Course Duration
12 hours over 6 sessions
Course Outline
Interesting highlights of the course include:
1.Learn about the expressions movement. (-에 가요) talking about daily life.(V-아요/어요)
2.Learn about questions related to daily life (N을/를,-에서)
3.Learn about expressions asking for and giving answers about the Korean number systems and describing a person or a thing (A-아요/어요)
4.Learn about expressions negation (N-이/가 아이에요), and asking if someone has an item (N-이/가 있어요,없어요)
5.Learn about expressions on asking whether an item exists or not, the location of people and objects
6.Learn about expressions asking the location of people, objects and describing the location of an item (앞,뒤,옆,위,아래)
7.Learn about expressions related to shopping (Korean number system 2, counting unit)
8.Learn about expressions related to ordering food at restaurant (Korean number system 1, price)

Your Trainer:
- Park Jung Min is a veteran Korean teacher who has taught in a wide variety of educational settings including St. Joseph’s Institution, Ezsam Korea Centre and the Korean International School. Additionally, she is passionate about sharing both the Korean language and culture with local Singaporean learners. Trainer Park also develops materials that cover all language skills- listening, speaking, reading and writing, and has much experience training students to sit for the TOPIK examination which assesses Korean Language Proficiency. She currently holds a Master of Arts in Global Korean studies and Bachelor of Arts in Korean Language and Culture.
- Jang Hyun Jin is an experienced Korean language teacher who has taught Singaporeans at Korean church and iSpeak Korean Language Centre.
She is a patient and kind teacher, making Korean learning approachable for Singaporeans.
She has obtained a certification in teaching Korean to foreigners from Seoul National University.
She is passionate about guiding you through the beauty of the Korean language and culture in a fun and friendly way.
