Ikebana (生花) means living flowers. The Japanese art of flower arranging has been described as being at once more subtle, more sensitive, and more sophisticated than the methods of arranging flowers usually employed in other cultures. This is so because Ikebana is an art in Japan in the same sense that painting and sculpture are arts elsewhere! Is this appealing to you? If yes, this course is for you! In this course, participants will be able to design and create challenging Japanese Ikebana arrangements. Participants will also be led to work on their self-expression and creativity! We look forward to seeing you in the class!

➡️ This is Japanese Floral Ikebana (Open class) for non-beginners **The open class is intended to allow more self-expression with the guidance of the instructor. By having Ikebana practitioners of all levels to do arrangements together, learning exposures and opportunities are amplified. This is also a time for learners to strengthen their foundation and revisit some techniques that they have learned before. Some additional twists to the arrangements may be added for advanced learners
