This course is a progression from Portrait Drawing (Level 1). For learners who have learnt how to draw the human head and observational drawing, this class is for you! In this course, you will level up your drawing skills through observing various tricky angles and drawing expressive cross-hatching.

18 hours over 6 sessions


Course Outline

Interesting highlights of the programme include:

·        Revise and practice the drawing of portrait heads

·        Observe and practice drawing of various tricky angles

·        Draw an expressive portrait using the cross-hatching technique


Pre-requisitess

50 years old and above

Singaporean or PR

Must be able to read, understand and converse in simple English

Your Trainer:

Janice Chin is an Art Practitioner specializing in various drawing and painting mediums. She was trained in Fine Art (Painting and Drawing) at the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom and has more than 13 years of art teaching experience with children, teenagers and adults at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). She has been invited to exhibit her artworks in Malaysia, South Korea and Spain. In 2013, she was awarded the prestigious First Award of the Biennial 2nd ASPAS Biennial International Pastel Exhibition in Oviedo, Spain.
