You will learn the purpose of keeping a travel journal and learn creative ways of travel journaling, through use of different layouts and themes of writing. The assignments given will help participants to strengthen their drawing and painting skills while honing their writing skills, a journal page at a time.

18 hours over 6 sessions

  • Layout, composition, documentary journaling
  • Reflective journaling
  • Creative risks by journaling with mix medium
  • Tapping on unique themes of each country they visit
  • Approach in buildings, streets, scenery journaling



Pre-requisitess

50 years old and above

Singaporean or PR

Must be able to read, understand and converse in simple English

Your trainer:

Koh Kuan Eng spent 20 years in the advertising industry before making a career switch to social work. He graduated with a Diploma in Applied Arts from NAFA, and his creatives works have won international awards at The One Show, London International Awards, and The New York Festivals. Koh Kuan Eng is not only an avid backpacker who enjoys keeping travel journals in which he sketches and paints, but he is also an author who incorporates his drawings in a series of pictorial dialect books that has sold over 10,000 copies island-wide.
