Course Overview

THIS IS A 1-SESSION ONSITE BASIC COURSE.


Get ready for a 3-in-1 intergenerational arts and crafts adventure with students from CHIJ Primary (Toa Payoh)! Start with the playful art of towel origami, where you’ll learn to fold four adorable animal designs — and bring your favourite home. Then, craft elegant crepe paper flowers, layering petals to form blooms that last. Finally, work side by side with the students to design and weave your own recycled paper basket, giving everyday materials a new life. This lively, hands-on session celebrates creativity across generations — a day of making, sharing, and joyful connection through art.


Note:

  • Participants will have to travel down to the school to attend this course.
  • Participants will have to be physically fit to climb stairs as some stations will be held above ground level.
  • All materials will be provided in the school.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring your own bag to carry your crafts home.
  • Participants will receive an invitation card to enter the school nearer to the session date.

  • 50 years old and above
  • Singaporean or PR
  • Must be able to understand and converse in simple English
  • Participants will have to travel down to the school to attend this course
