Fun with Upcycling - CF

Course Overview

THIS IS A 1-SESSION ONSITE BASIC COURSE.

 

You will learn about decorating and transforming common, everyday items into works of art! Using different materials, you will learn how to create a basket and rolled paper coasters using recycled materials! Upcycling reduces waste, promotes sustainability, and encourages creativity through art and craft. After the session has concluded, you will have a better understanding of decorating normal, everyday items. Participants will also be able to bring their designs back home and rejuvenate their physical artistic landscape! 


Note:

  • Participants will have to travel down to the school to attend this session.
  • Participants will be able to create basket and rolled paper coasters using the recycled materials.
  • All materials will be provided in school.
  • Participants have to bring a bag to take their crafts home.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring their own water bottles in support of sustainability efforts and to model eco-friendly habits.

Pre-requisites
  • 50 years old and above
  • Singaporean or PR
  • Must be able to understand and converse in simple English
  • Participants have to be fit enough to travel down to the school on their own
  • Participants have to bring a bag to take their crafts home
