Light & Play: Fairy Bottles & Boccia
Course Overview
THIS IS A 1-SESSION ONSITE BASIC COURSE.
Bring together creativity and friendly play in this engaging session guided by students. Participants will begin by designing their own fairy light glass bottles provided by the school. They will learn how to create simple pipe cleaner flowers and arranging them into a decorative piece. With step-by-step guidance from students, participants can explore different colours and designs while enjoying conversations and exchanging ideas in a relaxed setting.
Following the craft activity, participants will take part in a game of boccia, where students will introduce the rules and provide support throughout the game. Played in small groups, the activity encourages teamwork, light-hearted competition, and interaction as participants and students cheer one another on.
This session offers a balanced experience of creativity and movement, creating opportunities for connection, shared learning, and meaningful engagement across generations, while participants bring home a personalised light-up keepsake.
Note:
- Participants will have to travel down to the school to attend this course.
- All materials will be provided in the school.
- Participants need to be physically fit for the session.
- Participants need to be dressed in appropriate exercise attire and track shoes, as well as bring along a small towel, water bottle and personal medication (if necessary).

Pre-requisites
- 50 years old and above
- Singaporean or PR
- Must be able to understand and converse in simple English
- Participants have to be fit enough to travel down to the school on their own
- Participants need to be physically fit for the session
- Participants need to be dressed in appropriate exercise attire and track shoes, as well as bring along a small towel, water bottle and personal medication (if necessary)
