Course Overview

THIS IS A 1-SESSION ONSITE BASIC COURSE. 


Discover the therapeutic joys of gardening in this hands-on workshop designed especially for you! Whether you are a seasoned gardener or a complete beginner, the students of Chung Cheng High School Yishun will guide you through the essentials of plant care, soil preparation, and sustainable gardening techniques. You will get to decorate your pot with your creative touch to beautify it and make it uniquely yours, while enjoying the many health benefits of gardening, such as improved mobility, reduced stress, and enhanced well-being. Note:

  • Participants will have to travel down to the school to attend this course.
  • Participants will need to be comfortable with the handling of soil.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring a small bag for their artwork and an apron.
  • All materials will be provided in the school.

Pre-requisites
  • 50 years old and above
  • Singaporean or PR
  • Must be able to understand and converse in simple English
  • Participants have to be fit enough to travel down to the school on their own
  • Participants will need to be comfortable with the handling of soil.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring a small bag for their artwork and an apron.
