Kokedama is a Japanese art of growing plants in moss balls. It is a beautiful and unique way to display plants that does not take up much space. They are generally easy to care for, is aesthetic in appearance making them a long-lasting addition to your home.

✅ Do note there is a one-time Material fee of $20 per pax, separate from the course fee that is payable by paynow to the Trainer on the first day of the lesson.

Trainer Details

Valencia is a freelance literacy and arts facilitator. She has obtained a Certificate of attendance in Kokedama Creating Potless plants from the Nobleman Institute of Floral Design, and has a Diploma in Basic Pastel Nagomi Art.

5 hours over 2 sessions

Interesting highlights of the programme include:

1st Session:

Introduction to Kokedama as a new form of keeping plants at home.

The advantages of Kokedama vs traditional way of keeping plants at home.

Learn and understand how Kokedama works including care and maintenance.

Hands-on making 2 small, table top/ shelf Kokedamas using a mix of soil and moss.

2nd Session:

Hands-on session ~ learn a new way of creating Kokedama using thread/ yarn to cover the soil ball, to create a different look.

Participants will make a medium size Kokedama.
