Finger knitting is not just a form of art but the act of ‘threading the yarn’ in a repetitive movement, using one’s fingers, this action provides a great sense of calm and help reduce stress from daily life demands. Finger knitting requires no tools other than yarns and fingers, one can do this anywhere, anytime. It is also one of few craft projects that can be completed in a single sitting (depending on the project itself) from a cute, soft yarn squishy that makes a good gift to a functional lap blanket, the versatility of this art form is endless.

Trainer Details

Valencia is a freelance literacy and arts facilitator. She has obtained a Certificate of attendance in Kokedama Creating Potless plants from the Nobleman Institute of Floral Design, and has a Diploma in Basic Pastel Nagomi Art.
