Zentangle is a method that can help you go on a journey of self-discovery through drawing. Zentangle does not require any recognized artistic ability in any individual and has opened a door to art and creativity for people of all ages and abilities. This is a basic course designed for participants with no or some ideas of tangling.

Course Outline

Interesting highlights of the programme include:

  • Introduction of Zentangle
  • learn basic steps and tangles
  • learn techniques of “lift and land”, “draw from behind”
  • appreciate the beauty of black and white through different techniques of shading.



Pre-requisitess

50 years old and above

Singaporean or PR

Must be able to read, understand and converse in simple English

Ms. Tan Swee Leng is a certified Zentangle teacher (CZT37). She has been teaching zentangle to her students before her retirement as a MOE teacher. She hopes to inspire others who always felt that they are neither artistic nor creative enough to join in this journey of discovery through self-care.
