Interested in learning the Erhu? Playing the Erhu requires a combination of gross and fine motor skills, which will stimulate both the left and right brain. This helps learners reduce the likelihood of dementia, improve mental alertness, posture as well as overall health.
* Participants are required to bring their own instruments.
16 hours over 8 sessions
Interesting highlights of the programme include:
· Introduction to Erhu - including it's history and background
· Learn about the Erhu’s structure
· Learn D major scale as well as G major scale (position 1 & 2)
· Depending on individual progression, participants will learn to play a few songs

Your Trainer:
Justinn Lee has been playing in Chinese orchestra for more than 30 years and is currently a freelance musician and educator in Singapore. A multi-talented musician, she holds an Advanced Certificate of Creative Ministry (Contemporary Music) from the School of Creative Arts and an Advanced certificate in Early Childhood Music Education from Royal Conservatory of Music, Canada. She is also a Grade 8 in Erhu (NAFA), Grade 3 in Guitar (Trinity College of London) and Grade 5 in Music Theory (ABRSM). Other than serving as the conductor of Teck Ghee Community Club Chinese Orchestra since 2007, she has also been teaching Erhu privately and in schools for more than 10 years.
