Did you know that the name ocarina means โ๐ก๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ก๐ ๐๐ค๐ค๐จ๐โ in the Italian dialect?
Round shaped flutes have actually been around for thousands of years. However, the term only came about in 1853, when a teenager by the name of ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ developed a submarine-shaped clay flute and called it ๐ค๐๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐.
