THIS IS A 1-SESSION ONSITE COURSE.
Do you enjoy doing extraordinary DIY cards? Let's go back to the 1950s when pop art is a movement! Artists incorporated commonplace objects—comic strips, soup cans, newspapers, and more—into their work. The pop art movement aimed to solidify the idea that art can draw from any source, and there is no hierarchy of culture to disrupt this. Get creative and come join the students of Meridian Primary School in this course and learn how to make a 3D Word Sculpture inspired by Pop Art Artist, Roy Lichtenstein!
Note: Participants will have to travel down to the school to attend this course. All materials will be provided.
