Course Overview


Did you know that the juice/milk cartons that you see in the supermarkets can be made into something new and exciting for use in your everyday life? Come upcycle with us! Upcycling is a way to turn old things into something new, giving them a fabulous new life. Join the students as they teach you how to make a wallet out of juice/milk cartons that you can use to store your cards and money the next time you go out

Note: The materials will be provided. Do look at the pre-requisites list below for more information.

Total Training Duration (Hour)

2 Hours over 1 Session

  • 50 years old and above
  • Singaporean or PR
  • Must be able to understand and converse in simple English

  • Participants will have to collect their pre-packed materials directly from Family Central's office based on their allocated time slots.
  • More information will be given to you once you are successfully registered

  • Participants will need to prepare the following:
  • Scissors x1
  • Glue/Double-sided Tape x1
  • Markers of various colours x1
  • Milk/Juice Carton x1

Medium of Instruction & Trainer

This is an online course conducted via the Zoom platform in collaboration with students from Stamford Primary School.

Additional Notes

• This is a 1-session online course.

• Please note that this is a basic course.

• All participants have to turn on their device's camera during the session. As such, only participants with devices that have video capabilities are able to attend this online course.
